What a surprise!
Not expected for another three weeks this little girl was indeed a surprise in the field last Thursday. She needs to be a fighter as mum had no milk production and despite injections to bring her milk in nothing has happened. On Friday we went to the vets with mum to have a plasma transplant to try and give her the antibodies she needs from mum. They had to spend the night there as mum's blood took along time for the plasma to settle out. The cria has had three days of antibiotics and is on six feeds a day at thee hourly intervals , starting at 7a.m. And finishing at10p.m. She's weighed 4.5 kg. Then on Sunday we had a 9kg girl cria. Looking like little and large in the field.

card for Jolie
This is a card I made for my great neice born last week. There are no girls in the family so I tried to make it as girlie as possible. JMS are her initials. Her parents have called her Jolie.
Cards for Xmas.
The camera angle isn't brilliant but this is a selection of this years cards. My daughter likes unconventionable colours, hence the purple. It's a good one to do as you can alternare the two shades on the next card. The snowman was good to do as he could have any variety of colours and designs for his scarf and hat. The difficulty with the tree die was getting it lined up but I was pleased with the results. The star was a quick and easy card to do just after my op.

Vale Barn Luna.
This young lady arrived last Saturday, weighing in at 10.9 kilo and has a really curly coat. No wonder mum rolled around a great deal the day before. She almost looks as big as the cria that are nearly seven weeks old.

Cria time again
The little light female was born a week ago but the picture shows her at 8 hours old. The Brown chap was born Thursday and again pictures taken at 8 hours old. Peaches is the name of the light one as she has a soft peach tinge to her coat on close inspection. The brown boy has yet to be named, but as our home bred boys have names related to cars, it could be Mr Maserati, Maz for short.
